How to play Spider
Gather the 104 cards into eight same-suit runs from K–Q–J–10–…–2–A to win.
Moving cards
Place a card under one that is one rank higher. Suits don't have to match, but to move several cards at once they must be the same suit in descending order. Any card or movable run can go into an empty column.
Tap a card, then tap a column outlined in yellow, or drag the card there. With a keyboard, use Tab to reach a card, press Enter to select it, then press Enter on the destination column. Escape cancels the selection. Ctrl/⌘+Z undoes a move; add Shift to redo.
Dealing new cards
Each deal adds one card to each of the ten columns. Empty columns must be filled first. You can deal five times in total, and a completed same-suit K–A run is cleared automatically.
Finding your next move
- Look first for moves that turn over a face-down card.
- Joining cards of the same suit lets you move long runs together.
- An empty column is temporary space. Tidy up long runs before you deal new cards.
Hints and the solver
A hint uses only the cards you can see and tells you why it recommends a move. The solver also knows the face-down cards and looks for a winning line within a time limit. Running out of time doesn't mean the deal can't be won. Check this path looks for a winning line without changing the board. Finish for me plays the solution one move at a time, and you can stop it whenever you like. A win that used the solver's solution is marked as assisted.
Stats and sharing
Your score starts at 500, loses 1 point for each move on the current path and gains 100 points for each completed run. Undoing a move restores its points. The clock only runs while you play. A replay link holds the moves you actually made, including undos and redos, and how many hints you used. You can review it step by step with Previous/Next or the arrow keys, and the time is measured on the player's device.
New games, daily challenges and monthly challenges are picked from deals with a winning line verified in Rust by default. You can switch to random deals in the deal menu; random deals are not guaranteed to be winnable.
